Project description

This Honours project will do a systematic analysis of mammal translocations in Australia, with the potential to progress into a meta-analysis. The project will identify and synthesise published and unpublished data on translocation efforts, focusing on the methods used, monitoring approaches, and reported outcomes, including success and failure, and will explore the factors leading to these outcomes. Many resources have already been compiled, providing a strong foundation for the review. There is scope for the associated database to be published alongside the review, contributing a valuable resource to conservation science.
