Project description
There are many different types of open source and proprietary software available for the evaluation of DNA profiles generated during forensic casework. Different types of software will be compared against each other and for their overall performance to accurately and reliably model generated DNA profiles and in calculation of the likelihood ratios against the Persons of Interest, ease of use and modelling of different parameters such as drop out and drop in.
Note: You need to register interest in projects from different supervisors (not a number of projects with the one supervisor).
You must also contact each supervisor directly to discuss both the project details and your suitability to undertake the project.
