Project description

Cells and DNA are frequently retrieved from commonly used objects and surfaces for forensic purposes. This DNA may have been deposited by a person contacting the surface or transferred there by somebody or something through contact. Physical contact is assumed in most instances. This project(s) aims to investigate the transfer of DNA without physical contact by flaking and other mechanisms.

This project may involve collaborations with various Forensic Services Departments
