Yes. A full-time load for honours is undertaken over two semesters (36 units / 8 topics in total), so if wanting to study part-time, these units can be undertaken over 3 or even 4 semesters. You can also change from full-time to part-time during honours if the need arises.

Yes. We encourage students to work with industry where possible. In their third year of study, students take ENGR3700 Engineering Practicum OR ENGR3710 International Engineering Practicum. Sometimes students will then go on to do their Honours project with the industry partner they took their practicum with.

To qualify for a named Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) degree, you must complete 144 units with a grade of P or NGP or better in each topic, as described in the course rule for the chosen named degree. Students may transfer to a named Bachelor of Engineering (Specialisation) (Honours) course at any point after the
