Can I apply if my GPA is below 5?
Yes.
In order to be eligible for entry to honours, students would normally be expected to have achieved a grade point average (GPA) of at least 5 in 36 units of relevant upper level topics, by the end of their 3rd year. If a student’s GPA is <5, they are still able to apply but will need to make a case in writing to the Honours Coordinator regarding their preparation, motivation and ambition to undertake Honours. Once we receive your application, we will calculate your GPA and let you know if a supporting statement is required.
