Project description

This project is devoted to the mathematical modeling of population dynamics in contested and complex environments, where interactions between competitors and adversaries, environmental constraints, and external influences affect the evolution of populations over time. Using dynamical systems and nonlinear differential equations, we will develop mathematical models to analyse dynamics, stability, bifurcations and long-term behaviours of populations.

Assumed knowledge

Knowledge on computational and analytical methods for ordinary differential equations and python or any programming language are beneficial.


Note: You need to register interest in projects from different supervisors (not a number of projects with the one supervisor).
You must also contact each supervisor directly to discuss both the project details and your suitability to undertake the project.
