Project description
With the progress of generative AI, few are using synthetically generated data for nefarious purposes. This synthetic data, where someone is shown to say or do something, which they may not have done is referred to as deepfakes. This project focuses on deepfakes detection as a binary problem with audio as input. The outcome will be an app and/or script, which predicts if a voice is synthetically generated/modified.
Note: You need to register interest in projects from different supervisors (not a number of projects with the one supervisor).
You must also contact each supervisor directly to discuss both the project details and your suitability to undertake the project.
