Project description

The rapid advance of portable and intelligent Electronic devices requires the battery materials to be lightweight, easily processed, flexible, and environmentally sustainable. These requirements typically cannot be met using traditional battery technology that uses inorganic and metal composites. Batteries made from redox-active polymers represent a promising and viable solution to many of the issues. This project aims to develop new redox-active polymers as both cathode and anode to fabricate an all-polymer battery with high voltage output (>2.5V).
