Controllers for pitch control of a wind turbine

Project description

Due to uncertainties in wind turbine modelling and wind speed profiles, the need for more effective controllers is inevitable. A 5-MW wind turbine model is considered for this project. FAST simulator developed by NREL, is used for software-in-the-loop (SIL) evaluation. The project aims to design and develop a robust model-free or model-based controller for performance efficiency 5-MW wind turbine.

Control Systems, Familiarity with Matlab/Simulink is helpful.
