Project description

Raytheon Australia is proposing an undergraduate engineering honours project for up to two students to investigate radio frequency (RF) based jamming techniques against Uncrewed Air Systems (UAS). The project will encompass:
  • Research into UAS communication protocols and candidate jamming techniques
  • Development of tools to determine the RF parameters of UAS communication
  • Synthesis and test of jamming techniques
  • Development of a test configuration for exercising jamming techniques and determine the effectiveness of each technique
  • Development a concept demonstrator of a jamming system
For the duration of the honours project, students will participate in a paid internship at Raytheon Australia. All development and testing activities will take place at Raytheon Australia’s Center For Joint Integration (CJI) in Mawson Lakes.

Note: You need to register interest in projects from different supervisors (not a number of projects with the one supervisor).
You must also contact each supervisor directly to discuss both the project details and your suitability to undertake the project.
