Project description

Permanent pools: delivering environmental and cultural flows in the Barossa Use a hydrological framework to assess the ecological and cultural significance of permanent pools in the sub catchments of the Barossa to characterise their persistence and vulnerability. This project will involve desktop and fieldwork activities (e.g., drone surveys, hydrogeophysics and water quality and environmental tracers) that will contribute to a baseline understanding of how these pools are connected to groundwater and the knowledge and insights gained to support water management in the region.
