Project description
A new and highly unusual reaction was recently discovered in our research team. This reaction causes an unexpected rearrangement of S-S bonds in trisulfides (molecules containing a chain of three sulfur atoms). The project will focus on applications of this novel chemistry in one or more of the following: polymer modification and recycling, systems chemistry, drug discovery, dynamic combinatorial libraries, sensing technology and more.
