Project description

Genomic approaches can play a major role in conservation. We are working in the emerging field of restoration genomics to address genetic problems typically found in small populations while attempting to restore biodiversity to the wild. This project is part of a multi-institutional effort that uses genomic information to inform the restoration and management of threatened fish populations in the Murray-Darling Basin and elsewhere in Australia.
