Project description

Physical and chemical reactions at surfaces are heterogeneous by nature. The ability to resolve those changes with high chemical and spatial resolution has recently been realised with the combination of photoemission electron microscopy and angle resolved photoemission. Transition metal sulfides are some of our most exploited sources of metals and causes of environmental devastation through acid mine drainage. The effect of minority specoes minerals processing and reactions in the environment in paramount for the control and eradication of unwanted processes.

Note: You need to register interest in projects from different supervisors (not a number of projects with the one supervisor).
You must also contact each supervisor directly to discuss both the project details and your suitability to undertake the project.
