Project description
Microbial communities are everywhere and respond rapidly to environmental changes. In this project the student will assess the microbes on the skin of three fish species collected inside and outside marine protected areas and identify whether microbial diversity is higher inside the MPA. In addition, the microbes will be compared to the BIA, a health metric of the fish, to identify microbes that are associated with health fish.
Note: You need to register interest in projects from different supervisors (not a number of projects with the one supervisor).
