Project description

In search and rescue operations, locating incapacitated individuals who cannot connect to mobile phone towers is crucial. The objective of this project is to develop and validate a simulation model for a new Direction Finding system specifically designed for search and rescue operations. The simulation will focus on the system's ability to accurately locate mobile phones used by individuals who are incapacitated or in areas without mobile network coverage. The project will employ MATLAB or Python to create a realistic and scalable simulation environment. By the conclusion of this project the student is expected to have contributed enough to be a co-author on a journal publication.
