Project description

I have several potential projects depending on students’ interests, with a focus on either population, behavioural or molecular ecology. Potential areas of study include population genomics and adaptation of at risk and endangered cetacean species, genomic basis of evolutionary adaptations, impacts of human activities, and population ecology (population size and trends, and habitat use). If you have an interest in any of these areas, please organise a time to meet with me to discuss available projects.

Assumed knowledge

An interest in animal ecology, behaviour and/or evolution. Good communication skills, basic biostatistics knowledge, and/or interest in genomics.

Note: You need to register interest in projects from different supervisors (not a number of projects with the one supervisor).
You must also contact each supervisor directly to discuss both the project details and your suitability to undertake the project.
