Project description
Therapies for glioblastoma are limited by recurrence of the tumours after resection and development of resistance to chemotherapy leading to poor prognosis. Current therapeutics target a single pathway to limit glioblastoma invasion. Our research has identified that combination therapy targeting multiple pathways may be more effective in slowing glioblastoma invasion. This project will test combinations of novel candidates to investigate their effects on cell survival, proliferation and invasion (project funded by Channel 7 Children's Research Foundation Grant) in adult and paediatric glioblastoma cell lines. The outcomes of this project can be used in the future as a platform for translation studies.

Note: You need to register interest in projects from different supervisors (not a number of projects with the one supervisor).
You must also contact each supervisor directly to discuss both the project details and your suitability to undertake the project.
