Project description

This Honours research will be part of a project aiming to establish a new cropping option for the low rainfall Mallee region across three states (South Australia, Victoria, and New South Wales), an area of 4 million hectares susceptible to droughts, heatwaves, and warming climate. The project will be a collaborative research with multiple partner organisations. We will investigate the productivity of selected agave species under various irrigation levels and with water of different salinities. Two Honours projects will be available, one on the effects of irrigation, and the other on the effects of salinity.
