Project description
This project will investigate the effects of clearways and parking restrictions on traffic flow and transport network performance in Adelaide. The performance will be assessed using a range of transport modelling software and analytical packages. Data inputs will be collected from existing sources and in the field (possibly from traffic counters) by the student. Key performance indicators, (such as vehicle delays, level of service, emissions, fuel consumption, lane utilisation, etc.) will be estimated. In addition, the effects of clearway and parking restriction location, size and duration at differing locations will be evaluated.
