Project description

Porphyrin macrocycles have unique properties as regards photochemical and electrochemical behaviour. We aim to incorporate this important macrocycle into polymer materials in a controlled manner using ROMP reactions. The subsequent polymers will be examined for their catalytic ability. This is a joint project between Assoc Prof. Martin Johnston and Dr Zhongfan Jia.
