Project description
Designed and manufactured in South Australia by Oystek P/L, this is an exciting development for the oyster industry both nationally and internationally. With the support of a number of SA oyster growers this project has grown from a concept through several stages to a functioning demonstration of its grading capability. A system that uses Machine Learning and Digital Image Processing, along with Robotics, that dramatically speeds up the processing time of Oyster and other shell fish organisms within the commercial and consumer shell fish industry. First of its kind throughout the world in digital technology / robotics within sustainable aquaculture initiatives.
