Project description
This project aims to investigate the wear behavior of polyethylene liners in hip implants, which can cause implant failure and lead to revision surgery. The project will use an experimental-modelling approach, combining laboratory wear testing and computer modeling, to study the mechanisms of wear.
Note: You need to register interest in projects from different supervisors (not a number of projects with the one supervisor).
You must also contact each supervisor directly to discuss both the project details and your suitability to undertake the project.
