Static code analysis for security vulnerabilities

Project description

This honours project will investigate how static program analysis can be used to improve software security and support formal reasoning about program behaviour. The work will examine techniques that detect bugs, unsafe data flow and security vulnerabilities without executing the program with a focus on how these methods balance sound reasoning, precision, and scalability in real code bases.
