Project description

This project aims to explore the integration of technologies such as artificial intelligence (AI), computer vision, and voice recognition into the functionality of the Omron robot. With the increasing integration of robotics in different industries, the potential for vision-enabled robots to enhance automation and efficiency is therefore significant. Hence, the project will focus on enhancing the robot's ability and efficiency to interact with humans through advanced sensory capabilities and seeks to understand the functionalities, limitations, and practical implementation of the technologies within the AGV Omron Robot platform.

Image Processing, fundamental concepts in Robotics, Programming (Coding) Skills

Supervisors research focus

Cyber-physical Systems, Robotics, Automation, and Digital Image Processing include image demosaicking, interpolation, compression, denoising, and quality assessment.
