Project description
Fundamental interactions between plasma species and materials such as carbon and tungsten will be undertaken to determine their viability for nuclear fusion reactor design. This will be conducted in collaboration with Dr Cormac Corr at the ANU as part of Australia's involvement in the ITER, and will be co-supervised by Prof. Sarah Harmer-Bassell.
