Project description

Electrochemical catalysis has recently emerged as a fast and cost-effective method for organic synthesis. However, immobilization of small molecular co-catalysts onto electrode surface are tedious and less efficient. Whereas modifying the electrode with redox active polymers can introduce large population of catalytic sites, whereby highly-efficient electrochemical reactions can be proceeded. This project aims to utilize non-covalent modification method to prepare redox polymer/graphene aerogel as electrode to boost the organic catalytic reactions.
