Project description
Many products are becoming available for use to sanitise or disinfect. These products are not necessarily tested for their efficacy. For example, we tested hand gels from a supermarket against Streptococcus bacteria, and found that one hand gel did not effectively reduce the number of bacteria. Projects include looking at disinfectants, hand sanitisers, surfaces wipes, etc, and assessing their efficacy against different viruses or bacterial species.
Note: You need to register interest in projects from different supervisors (not a number of projects with the one supervisor).
You must also contact each supervisor directly to discuss both the project details and your suitability to undertake the project.
