Project description
This project focuses on the computational modeling of plasma flows and magnetic fields in the solar photosphere, where complex plasma dynamics give rise to various phenomena such as sunspots, flares, and coronal mass ejections. Using advanced numerical techniques and high-resolution simulations, we aim to analyse the structure, evolution, and stability of flows and magnetic fields in the turbulent solar plasmas.
Assumed knowledge
Knowledge on partial differential equations, numerical methods, programming with python or any other programming language are beneficial.
Note: You need to register interest in projects from different supervisors (not a number of projects with the one supervisor).
You must also contact each supervisor directly to discuss both the project details and your suitability to undertake the project.
