Project description

Electrolysers use electricity and water to produce hydrogen and are a key component for scaling a future hydrogen industry. This project aims to design a novel electrolyser characterised by a highly simplistic and modular architecture. For this purpose, an initial step should focus on analysing and reverse engineering current designs of electrolysers. Based on the results of the initial step, a novel, simple design for an electrolyser should be ideated and translated into an adequate model such as a SysML, or CAD model. Additionally, a first functional prototype of the model can be created.
