Project description
Technology companies are constantly innovating their value creation towards Industry 4.0 and even Industry 5.0 while facing more and more challenges due to increasing volatility, uncertainty, complexity, and ambiguity in global value chains. Additionally, highly automated and digital value creation enabled by AI and Digital Twins are creating new business model opportunities for the Australian industry. However, technology companies, and especially SMEs, often struggle to manage, design, and implement complex innovation projects for improving their competitiveness. This project aims at conceptualizing a management framework for complex technology projects. The framework should cover the whole life cycle of a project and include relevant management principles, methods, and tools. A qualitative or quantitative verification and validation of the framework should be pursued.
